Podcast Transcript:

Hello world and welcome to the podcast, You Always Have Choices. My name is Jay DePaolo. I'm the owner of Choices Books and Gifts in New York City. It's a store dedicated to health, wellness, and to the recovery community. We've been in business for over 30 years and I am the host of the podcast, You Always Have Choices, where we dive deep into stories of transformative healing and personal growth.

And I wanna welcome Rob Kaye is my guest today. He's a psychic medium, spiritual life coach for over 20 years. Rob has combined intuitive guidance with practical coaching to help people heal and reconnect with themselves and navigate through major life transition. His work centers on self-awareness, emotional clarity, and developing a deeper interconnection, tools to support both spiritual growth and long-time spirituality. So, with that said, my dear man, I just wanna get right into it with you, if that's okay.

Jay, personally, I gotta thank you for that bio. I gotta borrow that. mean, that is some great stuff there. You can be my new PR agent. I don't know if you have a main gig with this choices thing, but if it doesn't work out, I got another job for you.

You got another job, I appreciate it. I just wanna tell everybody how important you are to not just New York City and New York State, but the country and the world. I myself have sent clients two choices. There’s so many different things in there to help people with their spiritual development, with everyday life stuff. So thank you brother for everything you do.

And I thank you for mentioning it and saying that. That's truly appreciated. So with that, I just want to hear about how did you get on this journey? How did you find that you developed both of these unique abilities?

Yeah, yeah. So again, thank you for having me as a guest as well. My pleasure. Yeah, so, you know, I was the kid in camp that was helping other kids with their crushes or they like this person and go and talk to that girl. I just had this natural thing where I like to guide people and I like psychology Right, and just people interacting with each other. And I guess, you know, I was just like a little life coach. And so I think it's just been a calling since I was a kid.  since you were a kid. And I was also a very creative, spiritual little kid. I just kind of liked the idea about some higher power in the universe watching over me. as a little artist, I just felt like I kind of did my own thing. You know, a lot of the boys were out playing sports and I would be in an art class after school. And just sort of connecting that way. And yeah, so what happened for me is just at a very young age at a college, I just felt drawn to a more spiritual way of life. You know, I partied a lot, I did a bunch of different things, and then I found that I just wasn't that happy. And so I remember just reading some spiritual books and I just started to focus more on that. part of my life and it started me in this whole other journey. And so just practicing more. Go ahead.

No, no, I was just going to say, I want to hear more about like, you know, doing the life coaching and the how does that work with the guiding the intuitive part of this part, how you can have like, I want to say psychic, how did the two of those combined and how did you know that was what had happened to you? Like, was it good?

So I think just, you know, to share that we all have a psychic ability. We all have an intuition that we can listen to. Um, and it's whether we choose to or not, you know, that gut feeling. I've heard that.Yeah. So it's like, if someone focused enough, calming down on the inside was some, you know, meditation and quiet, or just trying to calm on the inside where they could really hear their intuition. they could do the same thing I do. mean, basically what I do is I channel messages from your spirit guides or spirits sometimes. And they just use me like a microphone. I just step out of the way and I just channel it. But it all started when I was that little kid, you know, helping other kids where I had an intuitive feeling. I cared about them and then I could sort of guide them. So for me, I was on this sort of spiritual path and I was doing life coaching just for friends.

People I would meet, maybe I was at a bus stop and I'm like, I don't know why I'm telling you this. I know we've never met Jay, but I have a feeling like a bag of money is coming your way. I just want to tell you, I don't know why I'm telling you that. And so I was working in catering in the city. This is like 20 years ago and I was trying to be a voiceover actor in the day auditioning and then working in catering at night. And I went to a psychic who I worked with and he said to me during the reading, you could do this. And I said, what are you talking about? He’s like, you have the same ability I do. And I said, you know, sometimes I do feel like I channel messages for people. And so I started to learn with a guy he knew who had like a psychic group and it was sort of like a class. And I started to practice with friends and eventually I started to develop being a psychic medium. And then I could match that with the life coaching. So I'm a psychic life coach.

Right, which I love. I just want to understand a little bit more. know, listen, I think this is good for you. This is happening. Or like you said, a bag of money. Now, how do you put that into life coaching as well?

Well, one of the things about psychic work that is a bit of a misnomer is that a lot of people go to psychics and they think that psychics are just gonna predict the future. Right? And so what they forget, huh?

A lot of people, we used to do readings in choices. And the only thing that is some people would come in and we had three or four different psychics. know, especially if it was actually a couple of women, they would come in hoping to hear something that they wanted to hear from the different psychics. And, you know, they were all very legitimate and all very good because I would get readings from them all. They were excellent. But some people were just so thick. that they couldn't hear the message.

Right, right. So it's funny, because while we're sitting here, I've never thought of this, but they were psychic shoppers. It's kind of like a room full of psychics and they're not getting the answer they want. So they go to the next psychic and the next, and they're going to keep doing that until they get the answer they want. 100%. But when spirit wants to give you a message, that's the message, you know, what people, even myself, Jay, I didn't realize so much until I got into this work and I got a little bit older and I had more experience in life is we all have free will. So our spirit guides are meant to help us from a spiritual plane. And we all have a lot of spirit guides. It's not just one or two or three. It could be like a whole group of them that are trying to help us and different ones we can call on for different things. And what they do is they're adapting to us and our free will. And so when people have free will, it's about me making decisions in the now that will affect my future. Now, Sometimes when I'm doing a reading for someone, I'll get insight into the past or past lives. I'll get insight into the present. And I may get insight into the future. But the main thing that I think spirit wants me to do and people's spirit guides is empower them to make decisions in the now that will affect their own lives.

I think that makes the most sense. I'm so happy that that is your format and how you go about doing that. It's not you telling them, it's you saying, listen, we can do this this way and I think it'll help you more. And I think that's fantastic. I have so many interesting questions I wrote down for you. How did mediumship and intuitive work begin for you? was graduate, well you more or less answered that. Many people are curious but skeptical. How do we explain what a psychic medium does? And I think you did a little bit of that, but hit us with some more.

So I'm a songwriter as well. Okay. And muses give me my songs. Like they just come from the universe. I know where they come from. A lot of songwriters over the years and very well known songwriters and singers and bands talk about they just felt like they went into the studio and they were given these songs almost. So as much as I'm channeling a song from wherever it's coming from, I feel like I'm channeling a message. And it's kind of the same thing. I’m just the vessel, I'm just the messenger. And then it just comes through me. Now I'm a part of it, but it's really coming from a spiritual plane. And I can't even explain how it works, you know?

No, I love that. It's like you're saying, I don't have much to do with it. I'm sort of just the tool that passes on the information.

Right, and the way that I know I'm doing it right, Jay, is when I'm enjoying the reading, where I'm like, this is really interesting what I'm about to tell you. I never thought of that or this is, I can't believe what I'm gonna tell you. It's like, that's when I know I'm doing it right. It's not about me. Just like you, brother, we're trying to be of service and make a difference. Yeah, so when I show, no, when I show up, when people come to my table, I call it, I'm just trying to help them to make a difference in their lives and be of service.

Yeah. And I, you know, I find I try to live my life that way as well. I try to quiet my mind, get in touch with that, that conscious contact. And then when I help people, which is something I try to do on a daily basis, I find it helps me so much more than probably who I'm helping. Do you find the same sort of thing where you benefit if maybe even more than the people you're helping? you know, help their lives become better.

Absolutely, because it's a win-win all around. It helps me get out of myself because, you know, as human beings, we can be kind of selfish, self-centered, focusing on ourselves, me, me, me, you know, what's my challenge? And then when I help you, it helps me take a break from me. And then, and I get to get out of myself and connect with another human being. And that life force connection is so important. Yes, And, it’s why some artists, they can be very isolative. And I even have that part of me where we can be focused on our songwriting or art or whatever and take a break from the human race. And that solitude is great, but it's also important to connect with other people so that we can feel that energy as well.

Now, I'm sure this has happened to you being a songwriter and all that. Sometimes, you know, I'm listening to an interview with somebody like Bruce Springsteen and he says, I came home, I opened a beer and the song came to me in three minutes. Like, and I think that's what, you know, the intuitiveness, the God thing, the all of that, like, boom, he just pops it in you where, you know, most of us would think a good song takes a month or two to write. But here it came to him in 15 minutes.

Yeah, yeah, I watched so many documentaries and like online just stories about, you know, writing songs, how albums are made. And I found the same thing for myself. I don't have a lot of songs, but I have enough. And I really, I love that songwriting found me later in life. Like 10 years ago, I picked up a guitar after years of not picking it up. And I just started channeling these songs. And so it took me on this whole journey. And so the great thing about songwriting is that some of my best songs that I enjoy the most came through me on a walk with a coffee in nature. And then by the time I was done, I was like, my God, I have the whole song.  I got a hit. Yeah, yes. That's wonderful. How has your intuitive ability helped your own personal growth and spirituality?

That's a great question, a great question, Jay. I hope I remain a student in life. I'm always trying to learn. Whenever I go through a challenging time, I try and listen to my intuition or I ask the universe or whatever people call that higher power, what is the lesson here? What do you want me to learn? Am I into, because we're really, you know, I've had, Alex Murray, who's the psychic medium that I learned under, and he was such a great, great medium. And by the way, we record a bunch of messages that he channeled during the shutdown before he passed a couple of years ago. He was the kind of medium where he was out of body and spirits would talk through him. And it wasn't like when you and I were growing up with weird seancey stuff, like dark kind of seance, there's very positive spirits that came through him. and we housed it on a website. It's like 100 spirits that came through them, spirit guides, 300 messages, all about different parts of life, and the website's alexchannels.com. And I recommend that people go to that. But anyway, so when I learned, I learned how to sort of calm down, make use of meditation in the morning. And by the way, a lot of people think meditation, and I ask clients, do you meditate? They're like, no, I should.

A lot of people think that meditation is not thinking, but our brain is supposed to think thoughts. So it's no wonder that I had resistance to having a steady meditation practice because I thought the same thing. I just can't, you know, quiet my mind or shut it off. We're not supposed to. Meditation, I could explain very quickly for everybody, Please. Meditation is sitting in silence in a comfortable chair or a couch, sitting up. closing my eyes and my brain will start going and I just bring my attention back to my breath. My brain will start thinking thoughts. I bring my attention back to listening to the silence and I just keep doing that and I just listen to the silence. Sometimes I just listen to my breath. Sometimes I have a word like calm and I, my mind will go bring it back to calm, but I listened to the silence and there's such a powerful grounding energy. That's where spirit is in the silence. And so the more I do that in the morning, Jay, even for two minutes, if somebody could do that two, three times a week for two minutes, they're going to be able to listen to their intuition better. And they're going to find that sometimes they may channel a message or, or feel like something has come through them.

Yeah, I love what you just said. So as a squirrely young kid, I'm the youngest of four, and my oldest brother said, you know, you're just too erratic. He says, I'm going to take you to transcendental meditation. So I took transcendental meditation for so many years. And believe me, I got to say, because I've been doing it for so many years, I feel without ego involved that I'm pretty darn good at it.

And as you said, when I sit here every morning, I pray and then I sit and meditate for 20 minutes. And I've gotten it down to such a science. If I start at nine in the morning, my eyes will open at nine 20. That's how many years I've been, I've been doing this, you know, but I've tried to completely silence my, my, my mind and my thoughts and empty and try to feel what comes in. And listen, I may want to know. Dinner may come up. What do you want for dinner? What do have to do? Thoughts, I don't care who you are, unless you're the Maharishis in the mountains and I wonder even how long they get of complete silence and no thought. So I love meditation and the thoughts are fine. They're supposed to be there. But what you did say wonderfully is like, they explained it to me like a ticker tape, just, okay, there's all the thoughts, let it go around and hit that quiet empty space again. And so you explained it very well.

Yeah. And thank you. And also, and you are such a grounding person. I mean, I can tell you definitely connect, you know, to spirit in the morning. But the other thing is I like to call prayer, I call it prayer, but I also call it sincere conversation. Absolutely. And I talk to my higher power like I'm talking to you. And it's like, I remember early on in my spiritual life, I had a spiritual advisor suggest to me, because I was very focused on getting a girlfriend. I was like, upset, I gotta get a girlfriend. I was like 21. And he's like, why don't you make your higher power that relationship, the most important relationship. And I've learned over the years that this is a real relationship. And sometimes I get angry, sometimes I'm real happy, but I try and just be honest and my higher power loves that, that I'm keeping it an honest relationship and I just talk to spirit like I'm talking to you and it feels, 100% it's so genuine. I love it.

Yeah. Yeah. And that's, mean, and that's what it should be. You know, I think it should be a conversation. You have to ask for what you need or what you'd like and get some questions. Like, as you said, that intuitiveness, when I pray and then meditate, the answers come to me. Things that would baffle me. I can go out for a run and all of sudden they hit me or go, or, you know, and I, things that baffled me for days when I quiet myself. Isn't it amazing how it comes right in when I can quiet myself that much down to let the spirits come in?

Well, it's, and you bring up such a great point because like if we looked at writer's block, we could look at life block where someone is just going through, which we all go through such a dark night of the soul or such a turning point or a shift where they're just overwhelmed. And so with my songwriting, if I'm reaching a point where something's not working, I take a break and I go for a walk or get a coffee or whatever, call somebody, see how they're doing. And then I come back to it. with fresh eyes and ears and I'm like, now I know what to do. It's the same thing with life. Sometimes you just need to take a break from whatever it is. You know, I like to call myself, I  know we're talking about recovery, I'm a recovering figure outer. It's like sometimes I'm just gonna figure this out. It's like, no, I don't have to. I can just turn over the universe and kinda try and keep being of service, making a difference, enjoying picking up my guitar and things usually become clear and work out.

You know, it's funny, because I'm sitting here talking to you and we chat a little bit before the podcast. And I truly get the sense and feeling that that's what your life is really all about. Helping people, I can see you channeling. You are that man to me. know, like sometimes  I've done interviews and I'm going, okay, you know, whatever. But you, you, the, comes to me, it comes to me. Yeah, thanks Jay. That's nice compliment. Thank you brother.

All right, this is a good one. When someone comes to you feeling lost or disconnected, what are the first steps you take with them to an individual? And they don't know what they want. They just come to you and say, my life's in shambles for this reason. What's the process?

Boy, these are great questions, dude. You should have a podcast. Yeah, so what I check in with first is... Well, I try and pay attention to how much pain there is, how much pain they're in. Sometimes people just need to vent and emote and get some of that, you know, shit out. Can we curse here? And yeah, so sometimes we just gotta get that shit out. And then after they emote a little bit, then we can kind of get into more of the foundation. Let's talk about the foundations, like building a house. Okay, we need to rebuild the house. This isn't working. So let's build a new house. Let's talk about the foundation. So I may get into meditation or what's their relationship with any higher power. some people have been, you know, in religious environments growing up where they want nothing to do with anything related to God. And they don't understand that religion and spirituality are two different things.  Wonderfully said. So, yeah, thank you. So, Yeah, and then it's about finding out what their vision is of their life. Okay, this isn't working. What would you like to see happen? What can I help you manifest? And then we go from.

I like that, I like that. Tell me what you need in your life and we'll help you get there. Just terrific, terrific. this is great. What are the most common themes people bring to you during readings or life coaching sessions? Is there a common denominator in all this or what would you say?

Yeah. So I'll give you some psychic speak. That's why I laugh because early on in my psychic work, there's a term people want to know when they're going to get laid and people want to know when they're going to get paid. So it's like it's a lot of it is yeah, it's love and money. People want to know about, you know, a lot of times if they're single, when they're going to meet a soulmate or a partner. And then if they're having a challenge with money or if they're just in a career change, they'd like to know, you know, what's a good area for them to pivot into or if their careers going well, what's the next step? So it's kind of people basically focus on those two areas. And then there are lot of different categories in those areas.

Yeah, yeah, in my store, we have a lot of different things that mean a lot of different things. three things that mean the most to people are money, that's number one, then the love, and then protection and healing. They wanna feel safe. They wanna be okay. So I do a lot of stuff with healing is where people, know, but those are the top three categories. And it sounds like you can attest to that as well.

Yeah, but you bring up a good, another good point, Jay, because I would say that my work has shifted from just keeping it as like, you know, basic as that, where a lot of people, especially during the shutdown, have focused much more on self care and healing. And so I think it's almost like, you know, it's sort of pre pandemic, and then after the pandemic and during the pandemic was an opportunity for us to really look in the mirror and take a look at ourselves and our lives. And a lot of people made changes, some people didn't. But one of the things, and I'm so glad you bring this up because I didn't think about until you said it, that a lot more of the discussion from the get-go was not just about, I'm lonely, I'd like company, or I'd like to be in a relationship, I'd like to get married, or I'd like to find a dream job. It was a little deeper than that, where I wanna heal on a core level. and then that stuff will happen. So thanks for bringing that up.

Yes, absolutely. It's my pleasure. Let me ask a couple more questions because I took so much time in writing these down because I knew you were going to be such an interesting interview. It's your intuition that told you that, but thank you.

How can you help people distinguish between, as you said it yourself, we all have it, intuition and fear, especially when they're stuck?

So I have a spirit guide named Amantungwa, and he's a Native American tribal elder from the Seneca tribe. And he used to come through Alex and give messages every week at our group. And he's just such a powerful guide. Anybody who's watching this or hearing this, please call an Amantungwa, if you need some help. He's a great pathfinder. And he has a great expression. Anything in life, it's either uh-huh or uh-uh.

It's that simple. And so sometimes the fear will tell me, uh-uh, when it's really uh-huh. And that's where the meditation and trying to calm down and talking to other people about what's going on because we all need support, know, life's a wee thing. That's where I can get the clarity of whether it's uh-huh or uh-uh. And also it's about paying attention to how we feel. So like I'm a single guy.

If I'm on a date with a girl or a woman and, you know, we're having dinner and everything I've learned over the years, it's much more than just her physical appearance. How do I feel around her? Does she laugh at my jokes? Are we enjoying each other's company? Are we having a good time? Can I be myself around her? So I try and pay attention and not just my intuition. It's either a-ha or a-ha, but also how I feel.

Yeah, yeah. I love that point because as you, you know, as a younger man, it was more about how physically attracted that they were to me. And, you know, I was so shallow if they wore weird pair of shoes, there wouldn't be a second date, you know, so that I'm years and miles, a million miles away from that, that thinking that.

Yeah. Well, and I think Jay, especially men, and I'm glad that we've gotten to this point in the podcast to talk about this, because especially men, we're kind of taught that, you know, you got to get the hot chick and have her on your arm. And that's part of your self worth. And I just learned over the years, it's so much more than just physical chemistry. That's the easy part. You know, it's like, yeah, it's like we're animals first. So that's easy part. The question is, That’s the easy. Is that the most important thing in the relationship? know, like, okay, great, sex is great, but can you have a conversation afterwards or can you enjoy life doing other things together? And that's a big thing. And one of the things that I've noticed about men and the younger generations after ours is that each generation of men seem to be getting a little more sensitive and in a good way. And when we were growing up, If you showed that kind of sensitivity, know, guys would say you were gay or something like that. It was so Neanderthal. But we've evolved now where I think the next stage of the sexual revolution is men being accepted for being sensitive yet still strong in their masculinity at times. And, you know, and also women being feminine yet still strong. And that we have both sides to us at Yin and Yang and balancing that out.

Yeah, yeah, I agree with that. I think, you know, as a younger man, I've been, I was single for so many, years because that's how I chose people. didn't care what they thought or how I felt around them. So I didn't even look at that. So I'm so glad you bring that up because that's really the way to pick a partner is how do you feel around them? How do you work together? How do you communicate? And like you said, the physical part should be the absolute last part.  Ah, I like this one. You personally, can you walk us through your own daily spiritual practice? What is your routine? What does your day look like?

So I usually wake up, have breakfast, and then I try and meditate. I'm up to 35 minutes, five times a week usually. So I try not to be perfect about meditation. I do it Monday through Friday, and then I take the weekends off. And that helps me be consistent because I don't have the pressure to be perfect about it. And by the way, perfectionism is just a way for us to stay attached to pain and suffering. It's impossible to be perfect.  Absolutely. It's just, that's just how we, kind of hold ourselves back. So I like to be a little messy. I like when people are messy. That's how we're supposed to be. It's like finger painting in life. We're supposed to make a mess sometimes and learn and grow. But anyway, so I meditate and then I usually am on the phone quite a bit during the day, whether I'm calling people, they're calling me. If I'm going through a challenge myself, I like to get support from other people.

When I was growing up, my parents did the best they could, but we didn't, they talk about a lot of things that were going on. They, they didn't have those tools to build that kind of house. And, they were just taught, you know, what they knew they passed that on. So I kinda going back to the recovering figure out, or as a kid, I grew up in an environment where I was constantly trying to figure things out and I didn't really have people to talk to.

Now as an adult, I have a phone full of phone numbers and the phone is so powerful just to reach out to someone and even saying, you know, I'm anxious about this or I don't know what to do or just to have you say back to me, Jay, hey, I felt that way. That's happened to me where I don't feel so alone about what I'm going through. I found that listening is such a spiritual act in and of itself and it's so wonderful when we can just witness each other. And support each other. So I'm usually on the phone a lot. When the weather's nice, I try and get a coffee and go for a walk in nature, connect to nature, because that's where I really connect with spirit. Sometimes I'm practicing a song or writing a song. And, you know, I try and pick up my guitar. I play tennis today. I just try and do things that bring me some joy, you know, a big sports fan and I like watching the Mets and the Giants, although they're going through some growing pains themselves. I just try and mix it up, and I like that I focus on the mind, body, and soul.

Yes, yes. And I think that that explains it perfectly that that, you know, exercise, getting in touch with nature, you know, meditating, all of these things help us progress deeper into these mindsets that we'd like to become. And they're so important. I had a thought during your conversation and it left me, but I know it's going to come back. But in the interim.

Yeah, wait, Jay, but I just wanna add something on top of that, and I hope the thought comes back to you, it will, is that let's talk about, or let me share with you what I do when I'm in a shitty mood, like when I'm going through my own growing pains, because... That's even better than when you're in a good mood.

Right, so the spiritual advisor said me once that Earth is a school of hard knocks. We choose this planet, because I believe in other life forms, other planets, other dimensions. We come from a spiritual plane, but we choose Earth because we really want to grow. And we usually grow through pain. And so when I'm going through a tough time, like recently, my mother's getting older and I'm...  grieving the end of an era a bit. And it's the kind of thing where I've had some feelings coming up looking at my own life and I'm going through my own shifts like we all are in this crazy world we're living in. Things are getting better and they're moving and they're shifting, but we're feeling the growing pains of the planet. So what I do is I try and allow it. I try not to... I ignore the idea that I'm doing something wrong if I'm sad, and I try and just allow it and I get support with it. And that helps a lot. In fact, I'll just add on that I was talking to a client  today and I said to him, just fall apart at the seams. Stop fighting this, just surrender and just allow yourself to fall apart. And he started crying and it was just so great that he could finally just let go.

And you gave him that permission. Yeah. So what I, it did come back to me. Thank you. If I wanted to start seeing you or the people out there that are listening to you out there, how do we go about contacting you? And what's that all about?

So my website is robkaye.com and on Instagram I'm mrrobkaye and TikTok same thing mrrobkaye and they can contact me in any of those places.

Just send an email saying, Rob, I'd love to chat with you, start, and it would work that way. Definitely, we can have like an introductory phone call or zoom, talking about where they're at in life and see if I can help them out and be of service.

Right, right. Yeah, yeah, beautiful, beautiful.  Okay, what is the message or the insight you wish everyone could hear and understand? Like what is your, I guess, mantra of life? I know that can be a lot, but you'll figure it out. I know that.

Yeah, I think right now my mantra is to learn, grow, and enjoy.

Yeah, yeah, that's perfect. Learn, grow and enjoy. And you do those things by living the life you live, by helping. Like a lot of you, you mentioned earlier that you were on the phone a good part of the day. Is that mostly clients you're with or is it, you know, a mixture of both or what is it?

It's, yeah, it's a mixture of, you know, friends, clients, family sometimes, and then also Zoom. It's like I'm either on some form where I'm connecting with people and talking to them. And in addition to the learned, grown and joy, I would also say being of service. That  is the main purpose of my life is to make a difference.

Yeah, yeah. Now, let me ask the psychic part of this and only because I don't, you I know it from one way when I had the store, we dedicated the room to it and people would come in and that's the way it would be done. When COVID hit, the room sort of went and we now have it as a storage room. But do you see people face to face or is it something that's done through Zoom? How does that work?

Yeah, it's  through phone zoom or in person.  Even through phone. Yeah,So some people like phone readings, some people like zoom readings, and then in person as well. I do a weekly channeling group on Wednesday nights at seven o'clock Eastern time,  Is that something we have to, is that something we can just go in or how do we get involved with that too?  Yeah, so contact me rob at robkaye.com. Just send me an email and I can send the information. And basically it's a Zoom channeling group where people show up like at Alex's living room, we used to do in the Upper West Side 20 years ago. I do that on Zoom and I go around and I channel a message for everybody. And then you can ask a couple of questions about your life. And it's a nice little.  It's almost like an open forum to a certain degree. Yeah, yeah.

Just people can get some guidance and feel grounded and hopefully some inspiration. And then also in New Jersey where I'm at, I have an office space that I use and I can meet with clients in person. Yeah.

Okay, that's perfect. That's perfect. That's great. Now, a little sidebar here. The music, do you ever share that with anybody? Can I hear it? Do you ever play in a bar or something like that?

Yeah, you know, I'm trying to get better at playing my own songs. I'm a novice guitarist, but I can write a song. I know just basic chords, but I like what I can do with them. But one of the goals for me is to get better at learning my own songs so I can share them even on TikTok or my YouTube channel. But yeah, I've put out some songs and they're on my website as well. Okay. And they're even on Spotify and different places like that.

And yeah, I tend to write country, but I have kind of a mix. I even have a Christmas song that's out. So I kind of love the whole thing.

Did you write that this year, the Christmas song?

I actually, I wrote it in New York City years ago when I was, yeah, and excuse me, it was one of the first songs, I think it was the first song I recorded when I lived in Austin during the shutdown. Yeah, and it's called Christmas Time. It's a nice upbeat Christmas song.
