The Black and Red AA Medallion pairs a multi-color enamel face with a timeless engraving. It’s one of our most-requested pieces, built for years 1-65.

This AA medallion is finished in 24kt gold plating over the multi-color enamel. The front reads “To Thine Own Self Be True,” the anniversary year in Roman numerals, and “Unity, Service, Recovery.” The Serenity Prayer is engraved on the back.

Both sides of this AA medallion show the AA triangle circle in 24k gold-plated brass, finished glossy and durable.

I have 4 black leather w/studs medallion holder/keytags which have clear plastic windows to showcase medallions. I keep 2 on my key chain and 2 on my work backpack: one for NA and one for AA. I like to carry the message - literally, lol - so this does the trick! ; ) Every yr, I buy my new medallions; I like the bronze ones on my backpack as they go w/the rustic looking, brown leather backpack. I prefer the more eye-catching, colorful ones dangling from my hip via my jeans' belt loop. I have had many a good chat via people noticing my medallions and this is a beautiful thing!
