The Purple AA Medallion with Purple Transition Crystal sets genuine Swarovski crystals that shift between two shades of purple into a purple enamel face, finished in 24kt gold plating, for years 1 through 65.

"To Thine Own Self Be True," the anniversary year in Roman numerals, and "Unity, Service, Recovery" are engraved on the front, with the Serenity Prayer on the back. The AA emblem appears in 24k gold-plated brass on both faces, 34mm across.

Because the crystals and the enamel are both purple, this one reads as more tonal and monochrome than the Purple with White Crystals piece — a quieter option for someone who likes the color but doesn't want the contrast of a white or clear crystal.
