The Black Gold AA Medallion keeps to a dark, understated palette — black enamel finished entirely in 24kt gold plating, without the silver trim found on some of our other black pieces — made for years 1 through 60.

The front reads "To Thine Own Self Be True," the anniversary year in Roman numerals, and "Unity, Service, Recovery," with the Serenity Prayer on the back. The AA emblem is cast in 24k gold-plated brass on both faces, topped with a glossy finish.

The all-gold trim against the black face gives this one a slightly warmer look than the Black Silver piece in the same family — worth comparing if you're trying to decide between the two. Includes a complimentary velvet pouch; browse medallion accessories for display options.
