The Black AA Medallion with Black Transition sets 21 genuine Swarovski crystals, cut to shift tone from deep black to a softer smoke gray, into a black enamel face, finished in 24kt gold plating, for years 1 through 65.

"To Thine Own Self Be True," the anniversary year in Roman numerals, and "Unity, Service, Recovery" are engraved on the front, with the Serenity Prayer on the back. The AA emblem is cast in 24k gold-plated brass on both faces, 34mm across.

The transition crystals add a subtle depth to the black face that's easy to miss in a photo but noticeable in hand — a good choice for someone who wants texture and sparkle without a bright, obvious color statement. Includes a complimentary velvet pouch; browse medallion accessories for display options.
