24kt gold plating finishes the multi-color enamel on both sides of this AA medallion. On the front: “To Thine Own Self Be True,” the anniversary year in Roman numerals, and “Unity, Service, Recovery.” The Serenity Prayer appears on the back.

This AA medallion carries the AA circle-triangle symbol in 24k gold-plated brass, finished with a glossy, durable coat.
